1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cache, a hospitality management platform operated by Platform Technologies PLC ("Cache," "we," "our," or "us"), registered at Bole Woreda 03, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. By creating an account or using Cache, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Cache on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Cache provides digital ordering, menu management, kitchen display, and property/point-of-sale management tools for hotels, restaurants, and cafés — including QR ordering, room service, charge-to-room, guest check-in, and government-compliant digital tax receipts. Cache is operated from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating a Cache account and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Cache on behalf of a business.

4. The Activation Trial

New venues start on a free Activation Trial: no charge until your venue completes its first 10 guest orders, or 60 days from signup, whichever comes first. No credit card is required to start. Once the trial ends, you choose a plan and billing begins at that plan's rate.

5. Billing & Payment

Subscription fees are billed in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) through cache.platform.et — not through any mobile app store. We accept Telebirr, Chapa, CBE Birr, and bank transfer for subscription payments. There are no setup fees, ever. Usage-based charges (where applicable, e.g. the Café and Restaurant plans) are calculated on completed guest orders per your plan's published rate.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from Admin → Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with no cancellation fees or penalties. Your data remains accessible until the end of the paid period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Cache to violate any law, infringe on others' rights, transmit malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other venues' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policies, not repeated here: see the Cache Admin Privacy Policy and Cache Guest Privacy Policy. Your operational and guest data belongs to you; we do not sell it to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

Cache and its underlying software, design, and branding are the property of Platform Technologies PLC. Your menu content, guest data, and business records remain your property.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Cache is provided "as is." While we maintain a 99.9% uptime target and back it with an uptime SLA on paid plans (see our Trust Center), we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by Ethiopian law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Cache and cancel your account at any time (see Section 6). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Cache after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
